The Elements

The Elements

Water, Earth, Air, and Fire — four sisters, four elements, one heart. A hand-painted, one-of-one canvas worn as a tee, watched over by an eye that dreams in rainbow and a sun that never stops rising behind the clouds. The Story Behind the Piece This piece imagines the four classical elements not as forces, but as sisters — each one carrying her element in her body rather than simply representing it. Water opens with spirals and waves rising from her like a tide that never fully settles — memory, emotion, and depth, always moving. Earth grows a tree from within her own chest, roots reaching down into her body and a heart nestled in the branches — the reminder that everything living begins in soil, and that growth and love are the same root system. Air carries mountains at her base and birds lifting from her shoulders — she is stillness and movement at once, the breath that connects the ground to the sky. Fire rises last, made almost entirely of flame — passion, transformation, the sister who burns rather than simply exists. Above them, a butterfly rests mid-transformation, marking the space between the sisters — a reminder that change is not one element's job alone, but something that happens in the space where all four meet. Higher still, an eye watches from behind a rainbow, the color spilling out from it like vision made visible — the idea that clarity and hope aren't found by looking outward, but by looking inward first. Above that, a sun rises behind clouds, refusing to be hidden completely — even covered, the light still gets through. And scattered at the top, roses in every stage — bud, half-open, and in full bloom — because growth is never one moment. It's water, earth, air, and fire, all working on you at once, slowly, until you bloom.

The Resin Armor

Inspired by the Greek gods — a hand-shaped resin and fabric bustier that preserves softness in solid form. I wanted resin to do what time never can: to hold the drape of fabric without losing its soul. This piece is a conversation between strength and fragility, where liquid became solid and fabric became art. Created by hand. One layer at a time.
